Hey fellas, I've got a 2008 Tundra. I recently have been having issues with a piece of plastic down inside the gear shifter (under the console) that is binding up and making it much more difficult to shift between P, N, R, D, and my autostick. It appears a thin piece of plastic has broken and is causing the problem. Anyone had this issue? How'd you fix it?

Thanks in advance,

Nathan

Dealer... if you have less than 36k, otherwise...
unscrew and remove knob
pull off bottom panel around shifter
cut off/replace offending piece
reassembly is reverse of above

Mine did that too. I had to order a new piece and replace it. It's a PAIN but not impossible.
