My wife's Camry's battery was dead this morning, so I just decided on a new battery. After the change out, the idle is extremely bad/low RPM and vibrates.

I read somewhere that there is a idle setting that the CPU learns to compensate over the years, and it can lose this setting on a battery removal and needs to "relearn" the setting again. I never heard of such a thing, is this true, and for a 2009 Camry I thought it would store the value.

Anyway if that's all it is I'll relax and wait for it to fix itself.

It will just take a day or less for it to reset back to normal. The ones you noticed first will be an hour at the most.
