in response to the earlier response given to me,

will it hurt the truck to shift into neutral at 55 mph? or will it hurt it to shift back into drive at that speed?

never owned an automatic. trying to eliminate the source of vibration. and shifting to neutral was one response given to me to determine if it was driveline or tire problems.

I answered in your other post, it won't hurt it one bit. Its electronically controlled and won't allow you to mess it up. Thats why you can't throw it into reverse or downshift when your rpm's are too high.

As spoon said, it won't hurt it a bit. I've done this many many times trying to isolate vibrations too.

Also good practice in case your pedal sticks. :D
