Hi I'm new to this forum I have a 20 19 Toyota tundra TRD sport and I am looking for answers and hoping for somebody to help me here. I bought my truck brand new from dealership I've noticed that my key fob was having some issues would not work unless I was really close to the car sometimes not work at all until I hit it 10 million times but every time I was at the dealership it seemed to work great. So never really found an issue with anything for about a year and a half now it's been working fine until recently both my key fobs completely quit and then I used to have or still had an issue with my battery draining in about 3 to 2 days now my battery drains completely in one day are you guys seen any of these issues with your tundras and does one have to do with the other I can only assume that if I have a issue with the computer which would be grounding my battery it would make sense but need your input please let me know

Does it happen at the same place? I used to maintain 2-way radio networks and I had a repeater at a broadcast tower and the radio frequency interference (RFI) was so strong that the FOB wouldn't work.
The battery drain problem could be as simple as your battery is getting weak, get it tested and go from there.

That's just the problem I have tested my battery and the battery is at 14.6 volts and it does happen in the same spot which is parked at my house overnight .but started with a booster pack it kicks over every time and I have a display to see what my battery is doing when i'm driving and it continually charges through the alternator to 14 the last full day but overnight nothing and I mean nothing no time no nothing but still able to keep memory of my radio and all my other computer programs on driving mode and all that but my key fobs are not working anywhere I've tried in multiple places multiple towns rural areas with no interference they just won't work at all it's almost like they've deprogrammed themselves but the chip on the key still starts the car

Not sure if you're electrically savy or not, but the troubleshooting for this would be to go to the engine bay fusebox (The fusebox in the truck is usually ignition switched, so should not be "live" when the truck isn't running) and pull each fuse individually. You can use a multimeter set to measure current (Amps) and see which circuits are drawing current. All the currents should be very low...Something will probably stand out because it's obviously drawing way too much current. This will identify the circuit that's causing the issue and you can narrow it down from there.

Since the truck is probably still under warranty, the dealer should be able to diagnose this but maybe they're "uninformed"

Thanks for the response and and here's another weird thing about this so I decided to put a capacitor on my battery just for helping it start in the morning to see if it work cuz I have turned off all my interior lights cargo lights and I also turned off my auto headlight feature so after completing the capacitor all of a sudden my fob started working both of them the battery is still somewhat having trouble in the morning but as for now somehow it's resolved itself and this has been like this ever since I bought the truck sometimes the fobs work really well sometimes I have to stand by the truck after I get out for a minute before even can lock it and this is the first time it actually cut out completely for a while it was about 5 days I understand there's a lot of RF interference but I'm not sure why would be causing battery drainage if it's an issue with my fob and they're two different issues I'm still trying to look into it to make sure I can pinpoint what's going on cuz I'm hearing that the fob issue is not just an issue I'm having but is quite frequent in this generation of Toyota's I'm also aware of LEDs being in the car have some definite negative effects on your RF antenna but I'm wondering if these LEDs are drawing during current when the key is off like keeping your smart key near the truck will drain your battery because it's constantly in contact with the computer is there something interfering by me having LEDs
