The standard cupholder device between the captain's chairs in the 2nd row is just a shallow tray bolted to the floor. I'd love to find a more functional way to use that space, but haven't found any aftermarket solutions. Before I go to the effort to design and try to make something, I'd like to know if anyone else has come up with an idea.

Three weeks and no hits but yours. Rampage or TSI products have some possible options, but the space b/t the seats is either too little or too tight. And, I don't really "need" that storage, but it just looks like something should be there, other than that tray.

That’s a shame. I’d be happy just to remove the cup holder as well as I find it a bit of an eyesore, but my understanding is that there is a bump / ridge and some bolt holes beneath it, which hardly seems an improvement. Ah, well. If you come up with a great idea, please share. I will do the same!
