hello all,
i currently own a 98 tacoma and love it but it is just becoming too small and ive been thinkin about gettin a tundra. Ive been doing some research and found a post about the 2uzfe throwin rods when under boost. althought i think im going to stay n a im wondering if this happens seldom in n a motors. I do plan on doing basic I.H.E and possibly head work. do these rods hold up or is it worth it to change out to the 1uzfe rods

If your planning on running boost, I would change them. I've heard of the rods giving up on N/A motors before. Check this out, this should give you an idea of the rods. Lexus 1UZFE, 2UZFE and 3UZFE rod

True, but you can get 1uz rods for 1/3 of a price if you are on a budget
