Monroe is offering a $30 rebate with the purchase of front and rear brake pads from April 1 through May 31.

There's also a $15 rebate for the purchase of just one set of pads.

Just make a purchase like normal from BrakePadWarehouse

Then just fill out the Monroe rebate form:
http://www.monroebrakes.com/promo/documents/Mb_spring2010_US.pdf
And Monroe will send you a check in the mail.

This is a great deal considering most brake pads are about $35, so you're basically getting one set free when you buy two.

This is indeed a smokin deal, I did it last year. Got a front set of pads for about $10 after rebate.

However, the anti-squeal shim on the Monroe has a rubber-like coating on it which melted and the pads produced tons of brake dust. Tons. After about 2 months of  I swapped them out with new OEM pads and shims. That's when I noticed the deformed Monroe shims that were melting.

If you're going to use the Monroe pads, I would highly recommend ditching the shims they give you and using the OE Tundra shims. Grease them as you would any other shim/pad install. Maybe you'll have better results.

FWIW, ShockGuys were great. Fast delivery and even followed up on the order on the forum. :tu:
