Just put in a $6,000 soundsystem into my new Silver, LMT., TRD, Doublecab, w/Towpackage. I wake up in the morning an can't wait to drive to work! I also Dynamatted the whole interior=A silent drive. So once I figure which Dual Exhaust I want, there will be no drone.
Anyways, I have the JBL system sitting in boxes in my garage. $500.00 is a fair price.:tu:

I am interested. I have the 4 speaker sound system, if you want to call it that. Does it look easy to install? Do you have a number I could call you at?

He's probably using the steering wheel controls with his new system, but that's just a guess...

Hey, car stereos have become a major technology in the last couple of decades. This drives the price of "the best" through the roof. I'm not surprised at that price, I'm just nowhere near that serious.

I have a fair amount invested in my home system, so know what can happen when you decide to go "a little bit better"...

Nice thing is that all that car stereo technology trickles down to provide nice, good quality and relatively inexpensive units for the less serious among us... :tu:

Because they aren't shipping the dash kit for the 07 Tundra yet, I had a custom one made from plexyglass, it looks factory.
Like I said I double dynamatted the doors, floor, roof, and back wall. When you shut the door it feels so solid and its so quiet on the road.
For amps I chose a Zapco DC Reference 1000.4,(with built in 10-band equalizer) and an Audison 1.1k. Both mounted behind the back seat on the wall, next to my 3 farad capacitor.
I listen to so many speakers on so many soundboards finally settled on some polykevlar Focal 3-ways for the front. Focal coaxials in the back. The 4" speakers in the dash are my favorite, the best staging and imaging I've ever had.
Was talked into a Jl 10w7 for the sub, already trying to find one with better SQ. Possibly a Hertz.
XM radio antenae is installed through the third brake light. Stearing wheel controls integrated into my Panasonic deck. Throw in an 80G ipod, and I can't wait to get up in the morning to drive to work!
