Hey there!
Anyone have a 6" lift on their Tundra? I have a 2007 Tundra and put a 6" proComp lift on it 9 months ago. Im starting to have some issues and wondered if anyone else has or has heard of anything. This is what is going on;
4 months ago the back end started to squeak (like the bed in a bedroom). Not a huge deal, but it gets annoying. Tried pressure washing the springs and then spraying with white lightening lube (recommendation of 4 heel Parts). Hasn't helped. Now, a month ago, the front end has started making noise. And im not talking a squeaky bed. Any time i pull into a driveway or steeper, the whole from end sounds like its being torn apart. It is very nerve racking. I took it to the shop to figure it out and they said nothing is wrong. that sometimes in Tundras this will happen and they will have to weld the cross member to the frame to stop the noise. but, its not a functional issue. Does this sound right? Cuz I think it a bunch of crap. I have seen other Tundras out there and know of 2 with lifts and no one has complained about anything being abnormal. So, what do you guys think?

Thanks for listening

The reason I asked was because I had a 2011 with a stage 2 lift and had some noises like you are explaining and it was the coil over top mounts. Both top mounts had broke and both coil overs blew out and I had to send both of them back to Procomp to be rebuilt. They warrantied the mounts and coil overs but I will never buy another stage 2 lift from Procomp. I had a 2010 with a stage 1 lift and after 60k miles I had 0 problems and my current 2013 has a stage 1.
