I finally bought my 2008 Tundra Double cab SR5 last week! Just love this truck. But at the risk of embarrassing myself I need to ask a question-how do I use the 6-speed automatic effectively and economically. I’ve never had a 6-speed auto, so I’m not familiar with how to drive it. I know I can shift into drive & motor on, but how do I use “S” mode 1-6. Again, I know 1 is low, 6 is like overdrive? Is it better/more economical to shift into “S-6” when on the interstate? I apologize for being so clueless on this. Thanks for taking the time to help a senior citizen.
