Pricing for this new warranty?
it's all in the thread, but here's what most people are looking for. Tundra 2wd is tier 3 and 4wd is tier 4

6 yr/ 75k 6yr/ 100k 6 yr/ 125k 7 yr/ 75k 7 yr/ 100k 7 yr/ 125k 8 yr/ 75k 8 yr/ 100k 8 yr/ 125k
Tier 1 610 795 990 680 905 1090 765 1015 1285
Tier 2 630 840 1075 810 965 1185 810 1095 1410
Tier 3 660 900 1170 745 1040 1295 860 1190 1550
Tier 4 700 985 1280 805 1150 1420 920 1300 1715

I can't get the pricing to space out right. I've attached the whole sheet below.

2wd tundra is in Tier 3:D
In excel file the difference is $700 between 2wd and 4wd for 8/125k :scared:
It's actually only $185 or so difference. You were looking at tier 4 vs tier 5, tier 5 is Landcruiser.

Thanks for checking it out though.

Those prices dont seem that bad. I got lucky and got lifetime powertrain with my truck for free. But may have messed up with the DT long tubes.

Mike, if I purchase the 8 year at only 75K miles, would I be able to upgrade to a higher mileage if I get to 6 or 7 years and realize I am on pace to exceed 75K miles? My wife's camry has 14 miles in 2 years, so I imagine she won't exceed 75K in 8 years, but she might if she changes jobs down the line.

Does the vehicle need to be under factory warranty to qualify? I'm at about 33K now.
yes, you must be under 3 yrs from in service date, and under 36k miles.

for some reason no, it can not be adjusted.

Toyota now offers warranties up to 8 years or 125k, as well as many new plans to meet different driving schedules. I'm sorry to say that if you already have a Platinum plan it can not simply be upgraded, you'd have to cancel yours and get a new one. If you're interested check out the offer. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/general-classifieds/155430-great-deal-platinum-plan-warranty-service/

if you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks

Mike,

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is or is not covered under the platinum warranty? Also, how long will these prices be available?

Well up until 8/1/09 Toyota only offered warranties up to 7 years or 100k. Either your warranty is aftermarket or by another Toyota devision, ie toyota of Canada or southeast Toyota.

Do these warranties require that all routine maintenance per the Toyota recommended schedule be performed by Toyota? I handle my own simple maintenance normally.
