'92 4Runner Tailgate Window Relay Box - Access throught Left Tailight?

Can I get to the Tailgate Window Relay Box through the Left Tail Light,
or do I have to remove the inner panel?

Also, when/if I remove the window motor, do I have to be careful
about the window glass falling down?

Anyone here tried to disassemble and repair the window motor itself?

Is it a different part than the other windows use?
I see a different part for sale for '84 to '89 than from '90 to '94...
and of course it's more expensive... is it really different?

Anyone know a cheap source for the motor?

If anyone cares... for quite awhile the center console switch
worked fine, but the tailgate key switch only worked for down.
Recently it stopped working altogether. I have voltages as you
would expect at the motor connector (+/- 12V using console
switch, +12V using key switch). When I applied 12V to the
motor connector, it didn't go up or down.

I think the fact that half of the keyswitch doesn't work is a
broken wire between the relay and the motor somewhere because
the relay does click with the key switch for both up & down. That
or the voltage source for the keyswitch up window circuit is dead,

I'm trying to access all of the connection points so I can chase voltages.

Thanks.

I forget, is the 92 a 3rd generation? (Tailgate flips up instead of down) If it is, the relay is inside the tailgate, it should be an orange box.
