Guys,

Just bought a 1999 Camry LE....first Camry, first Toyota. Dealer did not give me a keyless entry fob, only 2 keys. Is there an easy way to determine if my car originally came with KE? If I find that it didn't, how tough is it to retrofit it?

99 LE's were not standard issued with Keyless entry.

1. I bought mine without it. $299 optional kit ($419 Toyota Installed with Labor) with ONE Key remote!

2. I opted without and so have an ALPINE Remote Alarm with TWO remotes...$219.59 installed the same day at Circuit City.

Thanks for the info....I appreciate it! Sounds like I should look into an aftermarket system. Our other vehicle has KE as did the one this Camry replaced. I've become very used to it and without it in the Camry, I'm paranoid that I'm gonna lock the keys in the car.
