Has anyone here installed mid-woofers in the rear doors and also tried coaxials in the same spot. Myabe it's just me but I would like to have some treble coming from back there. My subs and front doors cover the bass pretty well and I just feel more range from the back will really fill it in.

Rear door speakers are neither supposed to have much low end extention nor high end detail. They are simply there to enhance the overall sound image. If you want you can simply leave your stock speakers in there. If you want to amp a set, then just get some coaxes, they are cheaper and still wont put out much sound if you tune the amp right.

Nah, I would say anywhere from 150-2k hz. Either way, have you looked at parts express.com for a decent set of mids? Find a 6.5" set, does not have to be expensive, just reproduce the sound, and handle the power. I would still just use stock speakers if it were me though.

What do you have as your mids/subs/amps?
