Hi,

I had an aftermarket radio (Pioneer AVH-4100NEX) installed on my '08 Sequoia. I wanted to add a USB cable to USB2 for Android Auto. Is there any way to get access to the USB port at the back and run a cable to the glove compartment without having to take apart the dash? I had the install done by a professional and I am wondering if there is any way I can DIY this..

Thanks in advance!

You're probably better off just removing the dash trim pieces. I think it's only 1 or 2 screws, everything is just held in place by snaps. You can expose the entire head unit in less than 2 minutes then it's 4 screws to remove it from the dash.

Super easy to do, just follow this you tube video to remove the radio. Here is a pic and link to usb port you can install in your factory slot. Just did it and super easy and super nice.
