Let's just say I'm going to put on flat black OE style Bushwacker fender flares on this truck, and want to get rid of the chrome bumpers and chrome grill.

The are a bunch of $200-250 black replacement grills out there, that are for ("fit") other trim models. Are they for other models because they only actually FIT those other trims, OR because they were OEM on those other trims?

I mean, would a black Sport or Rock Warrior grill, front bumper, and rear bumper just bolt up or would I need other parts like brackets and things to switch it all out?

Your help would be appreciated! I tried searching but can't figure this out.

I can only speak for the grill part of your question. I ordered the black (lower trim) grill for the same year truck as mine and it fit perfectly. As I said, I do not know about the bumpers as my front bumper is color matched.
Good Luck and post back if you find anything different.

Oh yah....supplies needed were pretty simple. Assortment of sandpaper, adhesion promoter to help primer stick better to plastic, primer, and I used flat black paint. All good ole Rustoleum. For the paint I did use their premium Rustoleum in the silver can. Figured why not splurge😄😅
