Anyone else have this?
I have 5 small air bubbles in the windshield - almost dead center below the rear view mirror. Each is the size of a "bb" and they run in a 3 inch line, one on top of the other. These are not chips, I felt both the inside and outside of the windshield for imperfections and there are none. I first thought it was sap that dripped on the windshield, but later found them to be bubbles trapped in the glass.
I don't know if I want to go through the rigamaroo of having Toyota replace the windshield, or if I should just live with it. My biggest concern is safety - I'd hate to have the area fail if a rock or bird jumped up and hit it. We have a lot of dead turkeys on the road around here from windshield hits (yes wild turkeys do fly). I'll take some pix tonight and post them tomorrow.
