I never had this problem when I ran a K&N. My only complaint against the K&N is that is does not filter anywhere near as well as stock. Went to a True Flow and now an Amsoil. I love the Amsoil.

Is it possible the filter you have is too thick which is causing the upper lid to bow where it meets the lower half?
Hi T. I did not know Amsoil makes an air filter for Tundra. If you don't mind, what was the part number? I too use Amsoil on all my rides. Thx, HIPPO
