My 2005 SR5 will not go into programming mode - not going to beat that horse right now.
I've got TechStream working and the Erase and Register functions both fail. I also had a B1242 - Wireless Door Lock Tuner Circuit code under the Body Live tab. Cleared it but had no affect on the failures.
I've found nothing that resembles a keyless entry module in the drivers kick panel so at this point I'm assuming it doesn't have it.
Two question for you -
1. If this were you, would you attempt to pull (junk yard) or buy an OEM keyless entry module and install it? Is it that simple?
2. Would you just go with an aftermarket system like a Viper and be done with all of the nonsense? If you're option 2, do you happen to have a wiring diagram for the installation?
