Im sorry I know there have been many posts out there...but Im hoping to get some new input or photos again. I own a 2008 DC. 4.7. Im looking at installing BFG KO 275/70/18 tires but at the same time would like to level it out. I hate the nose down look...it makes it look weak :td: ! I would like to simply add a spacer kit to the front ( no rear blocks) for a level stance. I also feel like the stock wheels look nice but squished in, so am also considering 1.25" spacers to beef up the look up a bit! Can anyone provide some feedback on these mods? I appreciate it!!! Im going to try and upload some current pics...but its painfully slow, check my profile~

Personally, I like neither block leveling kit nor wheel spacers. But as I understand it, if your truck is basically a street queen, they should be okay. (Have you considered Bilstein 5100 or OME kit?)

If you already like leveled/lifted look with beefier tires, why not just go with a 3/1 leveling kit with larger tires like 295/70/18 (which isn't that expensive, surprisingly)? Otherwise, you may be switching out your small kit for a larger block (extra pain and $$ of installing again, aligning, etc.). Just a thought.
I haven't looked at the 295/70/18 in comparison actually....I might have to! I know a lot of people say this and sounds crazy...but Im trying to do just minimal changes to get the same effect so it wont turn this tundra into an even bigger gas hog than it is! I average just 15 mpg now.

The leveling kit and 275/70's would look good on there...if you search here or google, there are quite a few trucks with that setup. I agree with Chphilo...the 3/1 with 295's would look really good, but depends how badly you need the mpg. I have an 08 with the 4.7L as well, and I'm worried the 295's will put me at the gas station too often. I'm looking at leveling mine off with a 2-2.5" though when these tires wear out, and I'll probably be going with the 275/70's as well.
I think I google image search daily for the 275/70 setup ! I do love the bigger beefier look of the 295 and 3/1 but Im pretty sure it would take my mpgs down to single digits lol. I found another setup in here with 275's + a 2" Leveling kit and it looks PERFECT. The only other thing I would like would be to space the wheels out just a bit ( 1.25") to beef up the stance a little..I think Tundra's all have a 'pinched in' look to them the way the tires sit ( without buying al new wheels wit ha greater offset!)

Not sure if u are 4x2 or 4x4. If 4x4 then ya might need the diff drop also.
I had a shop install it for me also. I attempted it at first but there were bolts I tried bustin loose that just wasnt happenin. Shop charged $80 to install it. So cost me $125 OTD.

Awesome Thank you! I do have 4x4, so I might need the diff drop. I have asked around a couple places and Im getting anywhere from $200-300 install quote (most are saying they need at least an hour per side @ $80/hr?! so $80 OTD is a steal! I've seen another install which only used 2" spacers and he came out level, and you used 2.5 so its hard to say what effect it will have on each truck I guess.

Another question...Do you have the 4.7 or 5.7? Any change or effect in power?
