I have a 2011 Crewmax Tundra. I really want to put a tool box in it but a perpendicular (standard) tool box takes too much bed space. I mainly just want to put a small set of tools, jumper cables, etc. I like the design of the boxes that fit on the end of the bed such as these

But I don't want them there. I'd like mine to be forward in the bed close to the cab. I've roughed out a design that goes from the forward end to the wheel well. I'm getting ready to fabricate prototypes in plastic and aluminum. I'm trying to gauge if there's any real interest in me manufacturing these. First run would be like 500 pieces so before I head down that path, what do you guys think?
