would a 265-60 give me a better quarter mile time than a 275-65?? If so how much??

It would diffidently help with rotational speed, Acts is its a little shorter gear, Plus there much lighter than OEM's. As far as traction goes, It will help a good bit, but nothing like running some Mickeys.

Ok I figured that with my truck having 275/65/18 right now with a 4:30 rearend, if I change to a 265/60/18 my gear ratio will change to approximately 4.50...People have already figured out that after about 5700rpm's our truck stops "pulling" so with the smaller tires would I have enough power to get me through the gears as fast as if I kept my 275's? I'll gain some low end torques since the end of the tire is closer to the where the torque is being applied but I'm afraid it's going make the second gear shift "bog" more than it does already.

I've had Falken tires on cars before, and wasn't disappointed, but for a truck, I very much prefer Cooper tires. Have had them on my trucks, as well as my son's 4runner. That being said, we lived in the Pacific Northwest, and needed a good year-round tire that worked in all conditions, and withstood sharp rocks on backroads, so the Coopers were the best. If you're buying for highway use, I'd go with the quietest tread design. Good luck.

not so sure You'll have that much of a change in the virtual Ratio. Though the tire will be 3.5" shorter. as far as RPM, It shouldn't matter at all. You'll get through gears Minutely faster. I haven't noticed this Second gear bog either. May be because Of the extra hundred or so Ponies.
