I took my 2001 to the dealer at 34,000 and they just lubed it. They told me that was all it needed. After 50 miles, creaking came right back.
Not only can I hear it creaking, I can also feel the roughness as you press in/ release the clutch.
I'm gonna take it back to the dealer again. Hope there's a TSB on it.
