Hellwig states online (Truck & SUV Sway Bars | Hellwig Products) that a 7700 rear sway bar should fit the 00-06 Sequoia. When I began installing, I found out the sway bar is totally different from the factory one:
- end links for factory are situated next to the rear tires (see attached pictures). On the other hand, Hellwig mounts the end links on the frame near the mid sides of the spare tire.

- there are no cutouts on the frame near the spare tire where the end links can be mounted to. And the muffler blocks one side.

Am I missing something, or is Hellwig stating a false compatibility?

Thanks.

I have eyed the Hellwig 7700 and now you have me curious. Did you get it to work?
Wish I could say yes. The frame near the spare tires just does not have the required holes. Also, the muffler blocks the other side. I called Hellwig and they said I should get the 7725, which is the correct one. Alas that one is not adjustable like the 7700.

So you're going to replace the rear sway bar with a rear sway bar? What's wrong with the factory rear sway bar?
