Do you want a certified rebuilt engine? Or just something to replace a dead motor?

The Salvage Parts industry have online search tools where you could ask for a replacement motor out of wreck with XX miles.

I may have one soon it is brand new put together by Toyota to go on a Dyno but it never was used bought it tried to use it in my 02 never did work out.

I just got a remanufactured long block from Sun Valley Auto in CA. $2800 ($800 core charge). Lucinda there is very helpful and easy to deal with. Shipped to Hawaii for $250. Its getting installed right now, so I cant say anything yet about how it runs or its longevity.
