ARE LS2 Cover

Just wondering if anyone had feed back on these covers.

I'm leaning towards a fibreglass cover, as I plan to use the bed more as a trunk.

Just looking for feedback,

1, is this a good fibreglass type cover?
2. can the track be left on?
3. can it be removed if required (temp)
4. do they drill holes when they install, that will affect the look if the cover is removed.

Thanks for any help on this

My dad had an ARE cover on his 00 tundra and it still looked brand new after 7 years of hard use. It was very sturdy, and there was no drilling involved for the install. We removed it once and decided we would never do it again. If you are looking to remove it on a semi-regular basis, I would go with something else, but ARE is a quality brand.
I just put a ARE camper cover on my truck. I have had several over the years. I prefer ARE over the others I have had. I think they are built a little sturdier. The others are good I just prefer ARE.

Mark,
I think they look awesome but you lose the some function of your bed if that doesn't bother you than go for it I want one myself and I would also get an are bedcover imo they are the best ones out there
Does anyone have one of these installed yet? I'd love to see some pics if available.
Can anyone confirm if the track system is still usable?
thanks
Mark,
I have one installed on my 2004 Titan. It uses the track system to secure it to the truck. The tracks are still useable, however, where the top is secured to the track it acts as a stop and you can't slide anything beyond the secured point. Hope that makes sense.

I really like mine and will probably install another one on my new Tundra.

Mark,

I was able to leave the track system in for my camper shell. I would assume they mount about the same.
