I recently bought a 2002 SR5 Tundra. When I bought it, the previous owner programmed the truck so that the only way the auto lock system works is with the key fob. The auto lock buttons inside the truck do not work. I can physically move the knob on the door handle to lock and unlock the truck from the inside, but it would be so much easier to be able to use the auto lock button on the door panel. Does anyone know how to reprogram it?

Automatic lock happens when shifting from “park to drive” or “drive to park”
I “think” I understood that you are referring to the electrical Driver switch to lock and unlock all doors.... this button has to work all the time. If it is not working you will not be able to program the automatic lock “behavior”
So far I get that it works with the fob; so the problem maybe at the drivers door switch.
