The 06-07 Sequoia's have the four panel blank switch plate. I am looking to buy one when I start adding some additional lights to my 04 D/C. You have to buy the plate and the four blank plates seperately.
I thought about getting the sequoia panel, but it would not be possible to install OEM switches in part of it. Behind that big "gum holder" on the Tundra panel is a heating duct going to the rear of the truck. The 06-07 Sequoia's have the four panel blank switch plate. No problem extending the wires. Actually, HIDs require less AMPS (more Volts) so extending the wire wont be a problem. Also have another question, I might start another thread but I figured I would try here first.
I plan on upgrading the driving lights to hid eventually. Of course HID consists of the bulb, and the ballast/ignitor. Now since these are on a light bar, is it ok to extent the wires between the bulb and the ballast so I can stick the ballasts behind the bumper, and neatly route the wires up to the light bar? Or is the ballast "tuned" to a certain length of wire? I would only be extending it 6 to 12 inches I'm thinking, depending on how long the kit's wires are.
