Good afternoon everyone. I just got my 2019 Tundra back from the body shop (daughter did a number on the driver's side....don't ask). They had to remove the bed to fix the damage to the rear corner of the cab. In doing so they had to remove the bolts holding it down (obviously). The spray on coating for the bed had to be removed from the bolts which are now 6 shiny silver bolt heads. I called and asked if there is some sort of sealant or spray on liner that could be applied to do a couple of things. 1. prevent it from rusting and 2. keep the appearance as close to factory as possible. I was told that there is nothing that can be done. My thoughts are that there should be something out there that can be sprayed on to keep things in shape or possibly get bolts that are black to prevent it from looking like such an eyesore. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I love my tundras. I traded in my 2011 Crewmax for a 2019 and then 6 months later gave that for my daughter to drive and bought another 2019 Crewmax (limited).

I am guessing you mean you have a factory spray in bed liner and your dealer said there is nothing they can do? I would stop by your local line x dealer and see if they can help. I wonder if they could just tape around your bolts and spray just the exposed heads?
That being said I am pretty sure those bolts are zinc coated and should never rust.
