Do you need to do the differential drop and CV boot mod with the middle lift on the Bilstein 5100's??? Thanks

I had to do the boot mod when I was on the middle setting within 2 days. I also did the diff drop too, but I'm not sure if I needed to.

I have mine set at the middle notch. I bought the diff drop and new CV boots (930 style) just in case. Neither have been installed. I spit a small amount of grease but that has stopped. I did not do the boot mod, yet. I have had mine on for very close to a year.

I will say I just noticed my upper ball joints make contact with the coil springs at times. Seems to happen at full lock when doing a u turn. It isn't too bad but it does happen. Not sure if the diff drop will help with that or not, it might give me the mm needed. Think I will be doing that this week some time just to see.

I have some other stuff going on so I will be troubleshooting.....

Took a year to see any grease leaking from the boots on my truck and then it was only right side. I did install some clamps a couple months ago. Do the Diff drop kit.
