Hey All,

Does anyone know the bolt size and thread pattern for the 6 bolts that are to be used to attach the Toyota step bars for an 06 DC Tacoma?

I just recieved my set from ordering online, and low and behold, no bolts or installation guide. I don't know if this is by design, or that stuff fell out of the hole in the box

(Not that I need the guide, I just need the bolt size which might be in said guide if it exists)

Thanks!

The step tubes should have come with flange bolts and lock washers.

The size is 8M x 25 ... which is 8 mm dia by 25 mm long. The instructions don't call out a thread pitch. Drive to the hardware store and pop a plastic cap off the threaded hole and try to screw the bolt in by hand to verify the right tread pitch. It's probably 1.00 or 1.25 mm.

Torque on these bolts is 14.5 ft-lbs.

Cool, Thanks! Off to the hardware store...

I'm guessing the parts fell out (unless I'm just missing them somehow).

I would contact the place you bought them from and have them send you the mounting hardware as it all should have been included.

About 9 years too late here but for future reference the bolts for the steps are M8x20 or 25x1.25 pitch. I ran into this same problem on my new 1794...
