i had my pads and shoes brakes changed in my 95 runner about 4 months ago. the steering wheel used to shake before and now it shakes a little bit. they squeak and stuff still and im wondering if this is the rotors or if i took it to the wrong place. what should i do?
recommendations on rotors? i have drums in back and discs in front...
i dont think they have ever been changed but i think they have been machined before.

If you went with aftermarket pads, that is probably where your vibration is coming from. Dealer pads seem to be the best when it comes to being quiet and creating the least amount of dust. Did you have the rotors turned when the pads were replaced? That could cause your vibration. Your drums could also cause the vibration if they are out of round. That can happend from normal driving or if they beat them with a hammer or dropped then trying to remove them to inspect the shoes.

so the best bet would be to replace the rotors and next time, take the pads to get replaced at a dealer? thanks
