I recently bought a 2013 Barcelona Red DC. Found a shell really cheap that is not the right color/fit but I like the extra height. It is made for 99 f150. I plan on getting it painted, but I am still debating on whether to do something about the gap between the cab and the shell.
Any thoughts on this? Look stupid? Fabricate something? Sand down and add use something like bondo and poor mans fiber glass? Doesn’t bother me too much. I have so little $ in the shell rn that I don’t want to buy a new one if I can come up with a reasonable solution.

It looks like that topper wasn't designed to fit your truck. Adding some sort of rubber weatherstriping will look a bit weird since the gap is too wide. Get a tonneau cover instead. I saw less expensive bed covers at 4wheelonline. Or spend more cash on a camper shell that is made specifically for your rig.
