Camper is the subject, Any suggestions or experience with a "slide-In" camper on the Bed of the Tundra... I need some advice. How Big? How much overhang? How much weight? What makes and models work best. What have you owned? What about the POP-UP, fully self contained ones? PLEASE REPLY- Larry {:>o}

I haven't said this in all the years I have been on this forum. If you are talking about the 5&1/2 ft box you can't do that. Think about a seesaw. I'm being nice here.

With a slidein camper your payload is critical. 1700 lbs includes gear, driver, passenger etc.
Also, there are no anti sway bars on Tundra, but not real hard to add.
8 ply tire is recommended to handle the weight as well.
Beefed up shocks also recommended if not airbags.
This is not an exhaustive list of what you need to be aware of, but these are the most serious issues.
