I leave early in the morning for work and hate the fact when I remotely unlock my 2013 Tundra doors the horn signals, possibly annoying my neighbors. I can't find a way to disable this feature. Anyone have a solution?

Thanks - ****

I just put an aftermarket alarm on mine. If I push the silent button before the unlock button, no noise. It was $150 installed. Not sure about the factory lock.

It can be disabled using techstream.

It's not actually the horn but a buzzer located in the front left wheel well. You could also just unplug it or put some tape over it to muffle the sound. Since your truck is new your dealer should disable it for free if you want to do it via the techstream.

Thanks guys!... Good info. I'm taking the truck for it's first service, so I'll see if the dealer can disable it.

If you have the Multi Information Display you can change that yourself.
I think this is only possible with limited and above. I have the display but cannot change any functions with my TRD.

Just curious. Are you hearing the little chirp when locking/unlocking the doors, or is your horn actually going off?
