Canada with no 2007 Camry TSBs... RIDICULOUS!

I went again to the dealership for oil change and yet, they have not updated with the 2007 TSBs??? I find this totally ridiculous..

These are my TSBs:

#1 2.4sec Acceleration Delay
#2 Passenger side.. around the door, makes rattle sounds when going through bumps.

Now what should I do? The acceleration delay is quite dangerous when changing lanes...

Move to the US! New England is nice, kinda of like Canada..........or you can bring the printed TSBs and show the dealer for proof that it needs to be done. Different rules may apply for CA. I had the I4 shifting and delay problem taken care of 2 days after TSB came out, I sent the TSB in an email to one of the Service advisor at my dealer and he said bring the car in.

Good Luck!:tu:
Maybe pass a law for socialized TSB's?

but that would get you worse service. Hmmm..........
On Tuesday my transaxle is being replaced per a TSB 2680.
Mine is a Canadian 2007 XLE.
Dave,

Just wondering...is Toyota offering you any additional compensation (...like say an extended warranty?) or just the new transmission and torque converter? Oh let's not forget the smile and complimentary wipe of a wet & dirty rag across your windshield!

Just curious (not gloating).

I have several thousand miles on my new tranny and it's as sweet as ever! I honestly have to pay attention to the speed-o because I'm constantly taking the car up to 80MPH without even trying. Fuel economy is as good as ever (assuming I use a light foot).

Keep us posted!

Thank you

Hey Njerald..

what other stuff have you done to your car besides the TSB's?

Sometimes I wonder if my acceleration is slow because it's not the TSB but just that i'm not hitting the pedal hard enough? I do feel kinda of a delay when I gas from rest to change lanes....

Any hints about how I can tell if that is a TSB problem?

BUT... the rattling on the passenger side is no excuse.. a definite TSB.
