Just finished doing this task today. I'l try to post some pics over this weekend, but basically I mounted my Uniden 520XL-PRO to the passenger's side of the center floor console in the vertical position. The unit is so small and light, I was able to mount it with, don't laugh, Velcro. Since getting my Taco a few weeks ago, I've been missing my CB, so I'm really glad to have gotten it installed. I have my antenna mounted on the bed vertical plate that's in front of the tailgate, using a vertical rounded mount. My SWR is not exactly to my liking yet (around 1.8:1 on Channel 19), but I think if I add more ground straps I can get that a bit lower.
