Seems my new ATT cell phone is now causing interefernce wity my 2005 factory speaker system. No interfrence with phone off howver, so it must be cell phone. Anyone with similar experiences or good solutions short of keeping phone turned off?

Yep, ATT thing. Will happen with any speaker or radio system, even with the power off. It's the incoming signal to your phone. Sometimes you will hear it 3 seconds or so before the phone rings.

Just crank up the volume until you can't hear it anymore!

not sure if you guys knew this or not, but AT&T translated into latin, the mother of all languages, means "bend over".

and "bellsouth" actually means "grab your ankles".

unfortunately they own the iphone... : ( which makes all other phones realize their inferiority...

Love my Seq!

The GSM frequency range causes a bit of interference with speakers. That's how I always knew my phone was about to ring.

I'm not sure if the next generation UMTS phones (related to GSM) will do this. My CDMA/EVDO Droid doesn't cause interference.
