The dealership said it was time to flush the old power steering fluid on my 2003 Tundra V8. They were asking WAY too much, and I feel i can do this on my own. Any suggestions on the best way and what type of fluid?

Thank..

You may want to try the Gen 1 Tundra Section:ts:

I've always used a turkey baster to suck the old out. Do it again several months later to get a little more out. Havn't looked to see if the Tundra has a drain or not, never seen one that does tho.

Why change power steering fluid? It's not like oil, where it is exposed to firing pistons and combustion fouling. Unless you get dirt or other contaminants in it, it should last indefinitely.
