02 Highlander 38K miles. Started car this morning no problem, drove 5 blocks, left car on and filled up with gas. When I got back into car the check engine light was on - solid not blinking - car ran fine. I turned off car took gas cap off then back on, also did not see any loose hoses. The only thing I have noticed lately and it is NOT everyday, a squeal from the belt side of the car when I start it in the morning. Fluids good the car feels as good as always.
Will bring by dealer today to see if he can take look. Any thoughts?

You can hook the OBD2 reader to it and it will give the reason why it gave you a check engine light. It might just be because you left the gas cap off when the engine was running. If that is the case, then the reader will erase the problem code for you.
