Hey guys,

I'm putting a winch on my new Tacoma and while I've narrowed it down to two models (through a great deal of research) I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Warn 9.5ti Portable
Pros - less amp draw, faster line speed, extra 500 lbs pull
Cons - 8 lbs heavier (remember I have to lug this thing around)

or

Warn XD9000i Portable
Pros / Cons - opposite of above

Regardless of which I go with I won't be putting a roller fairlead on it and will switch to synthetic rope as soon as wire is worn in order to lighten the load as much as possible. I know that another suggestion will be to simply put the winch on before I try something stupid but there will undoubtedly be those times where I find myself slogging through 2' of slop trying to get this thing hooked up.

So what do you think? Do you think that 8 lbs on top of 100 are really going to make that big a difference or that the pros "outweigh" this con.

Thanks in advance.
