I have been hearing and feeling a clunking noise below and in front of my feet when going over speed bumps, over dips, or accelerating from a stop. According to the receipts I have, my Dad (previous owner) had taken the truck to several shops, and nobody knows what the problem is. Any ideas?

*Transmission Mount and crossmember
*U-Bolts on leaf Springs Loose
*Cab Mounts Loose
*Steering Rack Bushings going bad or steering rack itself.
*Rear Drums Sticking

My truck clunks because Crossmember is broken from where the transmission mount bolts into.

+1 for trans cross member bolts. I only had 1 of the 4 left by the time I figured it out.

You get a pretty good clunk if it's a U-joint. Try sitting still and shifting from park to reverse to drive and back. See if it does it.
