hello all!
i have an 87 Corolla FX 16 GT-S....my baby! I seem to have a problem with my clutch. Often times, more so in the cold weather, even if I have the clutch pedal pushed down all the way (which takes a good bit of effort), shifting from 2-1 can be really notchy, and SOMTIMES it even makes a terrible gnashing sound, as if gears are grinding. This also happens if i try to shift from 1-Reverse while the car is moving forward (though this may be a safety feature, preventing me from reversing while going forward on a highway). Is my clutch not fully disengaging? What can I do or check? Thanks alot...any help at all is appreciated! =]
