Convert Rwd to 4wd

I've got an 02 Tundra SR5 extended cab I've owned for 14 years. Ny winters are hard and my bed is shot along with my rocker panels and cab corners. I'm looking at some southern tundras with zero rust, but most southern truck are Rwd. If I bought a 2005 crew cab Rwd can I use my 02 4x4 and convert over to the 05?
