So has anyone in Canada figured out a bed cover for the Crew max yet?

I'm new to the truck 'lifestyle', this is my first, and I see a need to carry the odd lawnmower , aerator etc in the bed.

I would like a 'hard top', that can be color matched to the truck (think it looks way better than the vinyl covers), but Im not sure if they have these that can allow the handle of a lawn mower stick out.....(do they slide back a little ....or something?

Plus if I could get a 'power ' operated one.....that would be really cool.

Anyone with any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

The one piece ones are the nicest, but the sticking out through the top is an issue, you have to take them off if you want to carry anything large. You can get hydraulic pistons to assist in raise/lower, so you can do it one-handed, but they still pivot from the front and you don't want to drive far with it up. Another option to look into are the sectional covers, made up of 2-4 hard sections that either slide or lift out.
