crewmax question

My truck is still enroute, and it has those big mirrows. my question to all crewmax owners, withy the 5.7 engine, are all crewmaxes with 5.7 leaving the factory with the big trailer mirrows, if not, what area of the country can you get the small mirrows, this is a lot of money to spend for a truck with mirrows you don't prefer. anybody know different, respond asap

i am also wanting the regular mirrors i HATE my tow mirrors because i cant she anything out of them and has almost caused me to have a accident .. i am planning on calling toyota about it to make a complaint and if they wont help me out i will be buying the regular mirrors and install them myself ... :td:

To answer your question. I just got my CrewMax SR5 with the 5.7L motor. My CM did not come with the towing morrors even though I had that in my order. I'm in NJ. I was told that the towing mirrors don't come with the TRD package

, which I think is BS. All 5.7L equipped Tundra's don't come with TM as a standard item.

My CrewMax will have the big mirrors also and I'd rather have the small mirrors. From the stupid question department: Can I switch out the big mirrors and just purchase the smaller and have them installed? Cost?
Its the only thing I don't like on the CrewMax I'm getting.

With everyone getting Towing Mirrors and not liking them, I'm not sure I want to do

It looks like all LTD trim trucks coming to Canada have the smaller mirrors, I asked for and need the large tow mirrors. So if my truck does not have the large tow mirrors I would be willing to swap. My truck arrives during the week of April 16.

I just got my CM yesterday, It has the TRD package and the smaller mirrors. I don't believe you get the tow mirrors on the TRD unless you order it that way from the factory.

which according to CDN dealers at least they say can't be done for quite some time. I couldn't even specify different size rims

Maybe I'll offer the same for wheels as I did for mirrors, I don't want 20" rims on my truck, "need" 18's...
