Thought you guys might like to see a new Tundra with the 22" TRD wheel and tire package. I'm sure it's not everyone's thing, but figured I'd post a couple photos just so you could see them.

Sweet truck....fugly wheels. Those definately aren't worth the $4,500 that dealers want. Come to think of it, I don't they're worth as much as the 14" wheel covers that were on my '96 Tacoma. But that's just me. To each their own.

I like the looks of the wheels myself. I went with the carved wheel, only because they were cheaper and was worried about how the ride would be with 22's. Other wise I would have put them on my truck.
you the man grant, more pictures would be appreciated on the crewmax especially a black one.
We have a black one coming in that's already pre-sold. I'll try to snap some pictures of it when it comes off the truck. It's scheduled to be built the week of April 16th.

This red one is by far the best looking one we've had in so far. We're in the process of getting the graphics done for our new parts delivery truck (regular cab, long bed) It'll look pretty sharp when it's done. Overall, the new Tundra has done very well at our store.

Mainliner, I was actually trying to put the 20" Carve wheels on this truck before it was built, but due to the restrictions on the first 14-15 weeks of Tundra production, we couldn't make factory option changes to this one, just post-prodution options (or PPO's as they're known as). A little FYI for you, the 20" Carve wheel package is not available as a PPO on CrewMax's. You can either get the factory installed 20" wheels, or opt for the 22's (at least that's what the computer in my region (Chicago) is telling me)

I notice a lot of people on here waiting for trucks and getting frustrated with their increased wait times. If you guys have any questions as to how the Toyota production system works, let me know. I can probably show you that the dealership has little or no control over these times. It's a tough system to get used to, but once you learn the in's and out's, it's pretty simple to understand.

I think the carved rims that is an option with the sports package looks best and the off road package rims.
Wow. That truck looks so big it makes those 22s look tiny.
The rims look ok, but they just look extremely out of place on that truck. What is the retail on them..
The option price on the sticker for these wheels and tires is $4,699

Thats a bit steep IMO you could go after market and get just as good or better for $2000 cheaper or more depending on your tastes. I guess some people have money to burn I sure dont.
MORE MORE! This is my type of truck. Now the red is on my list of colors along with black and bright blue. Can you snap more pics of any CMAX set up such as this. it's helping me lean more towards the Tundra rather than another Tit.
The wheels dont look too bad. I prefer deep dish rim. It gives the truck tougher look. just my .02
Those wheels look too small for that truck! Add a few more inches!
They look better there than in other pics Id seen. I dont dislike them as much, they for sure arent worth $630 per wheel. Id rather pay $330 per wheel for the Carve 20s. Hopefully some aftermarket companies will step up soon and we'll have more choices.
