D3 oil filter?

Hey guys/girls I'm new here. I wanted to go ahead and change over to mobil 1, and when I asked my parts guy to look up the oil filter, he said its the same ol' D3. Anyone know if the 5.7 takes a different oil filter than the 4.7? I really can't believe I'm asking this since I work at a Toyota dealership, but I just want to make sure before I start. Thanks scott

No it is not the same filter - our local dealer did the same thing. It is a paper element and not the standard steel kind.

do a search on oil changes, the part # is listed in one of those threads..

pretty sure its: 04152-38020
