I have a 02 TUNDRA 2wd and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the real pros and cons? I was thinking of a 2.5/1 setup with the Daystars but half of the local shops recommend Toytec or Readylift. Would a 3/1 setup be better for that aggressive look?

Are you only considering spacers for a lift?

spacer to spacer there probably isn't much difference in actual ride quality between brands. I don't recommend spacer lifts but if you are going that route, I'd say get the ones that go into the coil, not above it.

Being new to the game, would you be able to tell me which brands that would be? I was thinking about the Bilstein 5100 but the only thing that I see in the forums as far as cons is gas leakage? Being a owner of the bilstein can you tell me if that is a true concern considering my city driving?

So I decided to get the ready lift setup. I have to say I like the way it makes the truck look. The ride is good, I do feel a "slight" difference over small bumps, and I did hear a knock when the truck fell into a hump in the road.

Looks good. I have those same tires, might be a different size though. Sorry, I didn't see your question in time, but so far I have had no trouble with the bilstiens, no leaks and city in the city they have good manners.

That "knock" you heard was either the upper ball joint assembly impacting the coil or the ball joint stem slamming into its seat. That's the fatal flaw of the spacer lift design...
