Awesome, I am interested. what difficulty of wheeling? I've been trying to find some one to go up with for the last few months since I got the lift.
That'll work...I'll be in touch once the high country dries out. Where you guys normally go...Front Range, Summit, Western Slope?
if its mostly light fourwheeling nothing that will break abything, (i cant afford to break my truck right now) count me in too!

Well, we are open to just about anything really, just depends on what the group wants to do, but we go out almost every weekend.
Ill try to post up here also, when we plan something.

Right now, its been the Front Range, due to weather, but hoping this summer, we will be hitting the western slope.

well, for just about all of us, these are our Daily drivers also, so we dont want to break anything also, lol.

Im going out of town this week, but we are planning on running Carnage Canyon TrailDamage.com - Carnage Canyon on the 25th, dont let the name and/or pics scare ya, Ive ran it 10 times, zero problems, but a lift, and sliders are recommended.

Glad to see some interest here :tu:
again, Ill do my best to also post up here, but feel free to email me, if i forget, or you want to run something special, we have a great family friendly group, that wheels alot.

ten days in the middle of nowhere does that :D.

count me in starting in about a month...there are two more weekends of riding, one weekend of family stuff, then probably back to moab if you guys wanna come with. it's only about five hours from denver.

How was the ride yesterday? Sorry I missed out - count me in for future wheeling.
sorry for the short notice, but a few of us just decided to run Carnage (boulder) tomorrow, sunday 1st, we should be at the trail head about 11:30-11:45
I have a black 99 4Runner. hope to see a few of you there, if not, I understand its very short notice.

"OOPS!"

...lmao...I know exactly where that tree is. Many an unprepared driver has lost a bit of paint there :p...

--edit--wait...that's not the spot I was thinking of, at least not on closer inspection. Which way did you guys go...where was that picture taken?
Now that really fits the ol between a rock and a hard place.
Interested... Where? When? what trail, My truck is lacking protection, until I get my tax return back.

Well...if you duct tape the pages of your copy of the return to your quarterpanels, it might suffice til you get the benjamins...not certain, just sayin maybe :p...

Roosevelt NF is still officially "closed" (now HTH do you "close" the woods...please...), but there are some areas and trails which are not seasonally gated.

I suspect Coney Flats is out since there are seasonal gates at most (all?) NF campgrounds, and there is a seasonal gate at Beaver Reservoir (the water crossing) as well. I got a couple ideas tho...what you running for tires/suspension right now?
HA HA.... Right now the daystar 2.5 spacers, 3" body lift with 315x75's procomp all terrains, in your opinion should I get the skid plates or the sliders first here in a few weeks
Get the Skid Row set...as many of the three as you can afford. Harder to DIY or request local than sliders. BTW when you get the front plate, if your OEM threads are trashed for the front skid plate, I have the drill & tap to change the bolts to 3/8" SAE (I think they're 3/8 :p...don't quote me on that...but it is SAE).
Cool, then thats where my money will be going in a few weeks, well man if you think I will be alright on the trail without the protection, and I dont have any duct tape for option two, Then I am in this sunday
I've been looking for some cheaper upgrades to my supsension. Been looking into some new leafs for the back and a long travel mount with the shocks,HERE. Have you done anything to your rear?
